Timber stair supplier TwoTwenty promotes two of its sales team to regional roles as part of plans to grow the business

Timber stair supplier TwoTwenty has promoted two of its sales team to regional roles as part of its plans to grow the business.

Jason Ward and Scott Jones have been appointed as regional sales managers for the North and South of England respectively. They will continue to manage their own areas and customer relationships but will now also oversee the technical sales experts in their region.

Jones joined TwoTwenty in 2013 as part of the external sales team. In his new role as regional sales manager, he will oversee five technical sales experts in the south of England, while continuing to manage his existing customer relationships.

“We’re extremely proud of our unrivalled reputation for great customer service, and for being a staircase supplier that builders and merchants can truly rely on,” he said. “As a regional sales manager, it will be my job to make sure our sales team in the south is 100% focused on this ethos in everything they do.”

Ward joined TwoTwenty in 2007 as a technical sales expert covering Cumbria and Lancashire. He was instrumental in building a thriving customer base for TwoTwenty in North Wales, and recently spent 16 months developing new business in the south of England.

“At TwoTwenty, we’re very much focused on building and maintaining great relationships with our customers, and all our technical sales experts take ownership of this individually.,” he said. “My new role will involve overseeing our sales team in the north of England and giving them the support they need to build those customer relationships further.”

TwoTwenty designs and manufactures bespoke made-to-measure timber staircases for new build homes, conversions and renovations. It aims to deliver made-to-measure stairs to site within two weeks, half the industry standard lead time.

“We have grown TwoTwenty significantly in recent months, and we decided that having two regional sales managers would help us to continue delivering exceptional customer service as the business expands further,” said Scott Peden, managing director of TwoTwenty.

“Both Scott and Jason have a wealth of knowledge to help their respective teams grow, and will be working to increase turnover while maintaining TwoTwenty’s core values.”
