Arbor Forest Products has expanded its Trex business unit with the appointment of Marie Ennals as marketing manager.
As well as overseeing the marketing for Trex – the world’s number one composite decking brand – in the UK, Marie will also offer support for Arbor Forest Products’ core business, with a strong focus on developing brand identity and consolidating the two companies’ market positions. She will work with Arbor Forest and Trex’s marketing and PR agencies to deliver impactful marketing strategies that will help cultivate a closer relationship with the companies’ customer base and key partners.
Marie joined Arbor Forest Products after spending over a decade working in the marketing and business development teams for civil engineering specialists Spencer Group, so boasts a wealth of experience within the B2B and construction arenas. Working with landscaping products is a new challenge for Marie – and one that she relishes.
Commenting on her new role, Marie said: “This year is set to be an exciting one for Arbor Forest Products and Trex, with expansion plans and new initiatives in the pipeline for both areas of the business. I’m very happy to be at the forefront of some of this activity, and to be working with a dedicated and talented group of people.
“I’ll be working closely with business manager Jonathan Cooper on the Trex division: Jonathan’s knowledge of this sector is truly second-to-none, and I’m looking forward to learning all about landscaping products and decking in particular, as well as taking the lead on exhibitions, whether in person or virtually, and other marketing initiatives.
Jonathan added: “Having Marie on board to work across Arbor Forest Products and the Arbordeck and Trex brands will allow us to reinvigorate our marketing activity, and we have some big plans in place for the rest of the year.
“Our main focus in the first half of 2021 is on nurturing our partnerships with key customers including merchants and installers, but also building relationships with landscape architects and designers to really elevate Trex’s position in the UK market, and Marie’s expertise will be absolutely invaluable in this process.”
