Calders & Grandidge has joined the Wood Protection Association, strengthening its links with the wider industrial wood preservation sector.
Boston-based Calders & Grandidge has become the latest member of the Wood Protection Association (WPA), bringing one of the UK’s longest-established pressure-treated wood manufacturers into the organisation’s membership.
The Lincolnshire business has more than 125 years of experience and supplies utility poles for the power and communications sectors, railway sleepers and high-performance fencing products. It is also well known across infrastructure, equine and agricultural markets, where durability, consistency and dependable supply remain central to product performance.
Calders & Grandidge has held a Royal Warrant since 1986 for the supply of preservative pre-treated fencing to the Royal Stud and His Majesty The King’s Sandringham Estate. Now part of the Rundvirke Group, the company’s strategy remains focused on durable, high-specification fencing components and gates manufactured from pressure-impregnated softwood, alongside extended-service-life utility poles and railway sleepers.
