EPS Services & Tooling Ltd has been crowned ‘Best Performing Business of 2018 employing less than 50 staff’ at the Fife Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
The company, which supplies and services bandsaws for the timber industry, operates sites in Taunton, Somerset, and Kirkcaldy in Fife.
The Fife facility started operations in 2007 and has seen significant sales growth year on year, relocating to new premises in Kirkcaldy in 2013. It has continued to win more business to sustain its growth and has increased staff levels from four to 14 over the last five years.
Over 300 guests attended the awards dinner where Steve Goodlad, chief operations officer of EPS, accept the prize on behalf of the company. He said: “I am delighted we have won this prestigious Fife award it reflects all of our staff’s hard work and commitment to producing consistent quality products for our customers in Scotland.”
Brian Blackburn, managing director of Business Gateway Fife, added: “We have worked with EPS over the last eight years and seen the company invest, grow and develop over this time. This award is a reflection of all their hard work and commitment to their customers throughout Scotland.”
