Lowfield Timber Frames, one of the UK’s largest independent timber frame manufacturers, has expressed confidence in the ongoing growth of the sector.
The company announced its successful contribution to the delivery of nearly 2,500 new homes in 2024 and, with 1,500 units already underway this year, it anticipates an even more successful 2025. This announcement coincides with the firm’s celebration of its 25th anniversary.
Founded in 2000, Lowfield Timber Frames has grown from a small team of four to an award-winning workforce of over 130 professionals, all dedicated to promoting sustainable construction. Specialising in modern methods of construction (MMC), the company works on a broad range of residential and commercial building projects across the UK. Consistently investing in cutting-edge technology, Lowfield Timber Frames recently became the first UK firm to acquire the new Hundegger Compact Robot Drive CNC machine, boosting its production capacity and driving further innovation.
As the company marks its 25th anniversary, managing director Darren Jarman shared:
“We are incredibly proud to reach this 25-year milestone, which is testament to the hard work, expertise and dedication of the entire team.
“As we look ahead, we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of sustainable construction, investing in innovation, and playing a key role in shaping the future of the built environment.”
Alongside expanding its manufacturing capabilities, Lowfield Timber Frames is investing in the future of the industry by incorporating a dedicated training space into its newly upgraded headquarters. Set to open in summer 2025, this facility will offer invaluable insights to developers, housebuilders, and commercial property professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to fully harness the advantages of timber frame construction.
In conclusion, Darren Jarman commented:
“As we continue to invest in enhancing our production capabilities, our success is driven by our dedicated workforce, who consistently go above and beyond to deliver on the promises we make.
“We take pride in the length of service that so many of our team have built with us over the years and this undoubtedly adds value to the service that our clients receive.”
With 1,500 new homes and five schools already secured for 2025, Lowfield Timber Frames expects ongoing success in the year to come.
