Software development specialist Ten-25, which has been developing business software for timber and builders’ merchants since 1981, has appointed Bal Gill as business development manager.
His appointment is part of the company’s ongoing expansion plans around the launch of its all-new merchant trading software system, UT400.
Gill brings with him a wealth of experience across multiple sectors in developing new business opportunities. Having worked with both builders’ merchant and technology sectors before, he has a great deal of relevant knowledge and insight to bring to the role.
He said: “I am grateful to be working with a longstanding, family-run tech company who have been developing innovative solutions for over 35 years. Our focus is very much on supporting merchants and stockists, demonstrating how to utilise mobile and cloud-based software so they can buy better, stock smarter and sell faster. UT400 is a really fresh and exciting piece of software and I think it’s going to be really well received in the market.”
The team expansion is announced just days after the promotion of long-term customer support analyst George Ritchie to service manager. Ritchie, who is based in the Ayr office in Scotland, will be taking on more responsibility for both customer care and ongoing project management in his new role.
UT400 is an all-new cloud-based inventory and order management system which will eventually replace the current UniTrade 360 platform.
