Company Overview

The Timber Decking & Cladding Association (TDCA) is an independent, not-for-profit advisory organisation, established to influence and promote good industry practice. The TDCA is the recognised voice in the UK for guidance on creating high performance, fit for purpose timber decking and cladding structures – accessed by both amateur individuals and professional contractors alike.

TDCA is supported by members who have undergone surveillance audits of their Quality Management Systems, demonstrating a commitment to supplying excellent products and/or services. Businesses who hold the prestigious TDCA DeckMark or CladMark accreditation for Approved Product, Supplier or Installer status, can further verify outstanding quality or capability.

At the organisation’s heart is the mission to ensure that all decking and cladding installations conform to appropriate standards. Its membership base is made up of likeminded companies and individuals with a passion for quality, high standards of service and exceeding performance expectations.

Products / Services Summary

Whatever the size of your timber decking or cladding project, the TDCA has plenty of expert information available. Whether you’re looking for design, specification, product selection, installation or maintenance, the TDCA has everything you need. Contact TDCA with your enquiries.

TDCA offers a sourcing service – contacting potential suppliers on your behalf to provide a list of companies who can meet your specific needs.   Alternatively, with your permission, suppliers can contact you directly.  The TDCA’s member database not only includes timber suppliers but also providers of fixings, fasteners, coatings, insect mesh, membranes and pedestals.

Sourcing third party accredited materials will help in the pursuit of acquiring quality, fit for purpose products; look for the DeckMark and CladMark badges – they are the quality accreditation schemes operated by TDCA for its members.

TDCA can offer expert advice and objective, unbiased opinion – vital for people experiencing issues with the quality of the materials or workmanship used on their timber decking or timber cladding projects.

If you would like to find out more information on becoming a member of the TDCA get in touch.  You can find an approved supplier through the website, which has an interactive search facility.
