Wood Campus

Company Overview

Wood Campus is a Swedish Wood initiative developed in co-operation with the UK timber industry. Key partners include the Timber Trade Federation, the British Woodworking Federation, the Wood Window Alliance, the Timber Decking and Cladding Association, the Wood Protection Association, the Structural Timber Association and Wood for Good.

It provides a range of information, inspiration and learning tools for DIY, architects and trade users of wood – including an iPhone and android smartphone app.

Choosing wood from sustainably managed forests is one of the ways we can all contribute to mitigating climate change. Wood is naturally renewable and low carbon. Using wood helps take carbon from the atmosphere and lock it up in two ways – in the growing store of wood products, and in encouraging the continued growth of our Scandinavian, European, North American and Canadian forests.
