Aberdeenshire-based Kirkwood Timber Frame has appointed Dyke McKenzie as its new business development manager.
McKenzie brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the role, having started his career in manufacturing before moving into sales and business development. Over the years, he has worked with businesses across the housing, healthcare and education sectors, including projects involving student accommodation developments.
“I’m excited to join Kirkwood Timber Frame and look forward to supporting the team by getting out there, building relationships and using my knowledge, experience and contacts to help the business grow,” he said.
“Despite the construction industry experiencing a difficult period at present, there is huge potential in the timber frame sector. I believe that Kirkwood has positioned itself well to capitalise on this opportunity.”
Kirkwood Timber Frame manufactures timber frame systems for developers, contractors, housing associations, public and private sector organisations, as well as self-build customers. The company said its FastBuild products are designed to help accelerate construction programmes.
