MKM have been busy with a series of new branch openings with Newcastle, London Colney and Thame being its 123rd and most recent branch in the UK opening on 2 October. All new branches have created dozens of new jobs.
MKM allows each site to operate independently under its Branch Directors, giving them full autonomy to stock the products and set the prices that are right for their local community. Each branch has continuous support of a Central Support office based in Hull. MKM Thame Branch Directors Aaron Campbell and Jake Sherwin have extensive ties to the Thame community, bringing expertise in the merchanting industry and a deep understanding of local needs to the new branch.

With a 30,000sq ft warehouse, all MKM Thame timber is dry stored, and the branch will stock a full selection of building, timber, and plumbing and heating supplies. Other benefits include a specialist professional kitchen and bathroom team and a 2,000sq ft kitchen and bathroom showroom showcasing products from market leading suppliers.
