Donaldson Timber Systems collaborates with HebHomes

Donaldson Timber Systems joins forces with HebHomes to supply offsite timber structures to the latter’s housing developments to improve efficiency and energy performance at sites across the UK, Ireland and overseas.

The pair have collaborated to create refined construction details to suit HebHomes customers, with Donaldson Timber Systems supplying their closed panel Sigma II technology which features insulated roof cassettes and achieves U-values of 0.15 W/m2K as standard.

Their dedication to refining details aims to help projects in remote and challenging locations to simplify construction logistics whilst maintaining the original architectural design intent.

Donaldson Timber Systems’ development of the Sigma II manufacturing process will increase efficiency on-site by cutting down time whilst ensuring certainty and consistency- investing in a high-quality delivery designed specifically for HebHomes.

The Sigma II panel system neatly combines with the contemporary Scandinavian appearance associated with HebHomes’ renowned performance standards.

Initial projects built using this collaborative approach include five across Northern England, Scarfskerry, Oban, Westhill and Glenelg, with further plans set for the coming months.

The North key accounts head at Donaldson Timber Systems Gary Shaw said “This is an exciting partnership for Donaldson Timber Systems in a completely new market for us. HebHomes is a fantastic business, offering a high-end, energy-efficient product that we’re proud to put our name to.”

Active in the offsite timber structure industry for 50 years, Donaldson Timber Systems runs manufacturing and technical operations across the UK.
