Robertson Timber Engineering is Verified by Cast

Robertson Timber Engineering (RTE) has achieved Verified by Cast status, an independent recognition of the firm’s capability and performance in the sector.

Consultants Cast assess organisations operating in the methods of construction market, with inspections focusing on company performance, product and system accreditation, and customer satisfaction.

For more than 30 years, RTE has been designing, manufacturing and erecting timber frame structures across the UK. They operate from a manufacturing facility in the Scottish town Elgin, and delivers timber frame and mass timber for both residential and commercial developments using digital design and manufacturing technologies.

Cast focused their assessments on RTE’s management systems, quality assurance processes and project delivery record. The company is accredited with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, BOPAS, Constructionline Gold membership and CHAS Elite.

RTE supplies mass timber products such as cross-laminated timber and glued laminated timber, as well as their timber frames.

The managing director of Robertson Timber Engineering, Mike Turner, said: “Achieving Verified by Cast status provides independent recognition of the expertise, capability and standards that underpin our work.

“The assessment reflects the strength of our people, the quality of our manufacturing and delivery processes, and our commitment to supporting customers throughout the project lifecycle.

“It reinforces for customers, partners and specifiers our ability to deliver high-quality timber engineering solutions, while demonstrating the evidence, experience and credentials behind our approach to modern methods of construction.”
