The necessary minimum to work at maximum efficiency

New “Tools for timber construction” catalogue

Rothoblaas has recently presented various innovative products for carpentry and woodworking, contained in the new catalogue “Tools for timber construction”. An edition widely updated in its style and content, which has set aside the previous catalogue after almost 6 years of honoured service.

“Renewing the range of these products took us a little longer than usual: we really wanted to put extra care in all the details”, explains Eng. Michele Dal Ri, who in Rothoblaas holds the position of Target Manager Woodworker. “The previous catalogue and the products it contained has been giving us a great deal of satisfaction over the years. Now with this extended and updated edition we’re presenting we really feel we offer the carpenter and the assembly teams everything they need to do their job well. We like to define the wide selection of products in the catalogue as the necessary minimum for people building with wood, because nobody should give up such variety and quality”, continues Dal Ri.

“For several years now we have been working to offer our customers more of our own-brand products, dissociating ourselves from the mere role of distributor”, proudly affirms Eng. Steffen Uphoff, Product Line Manager for the Tools and Machine line: “with this catalogue we made great strides in this direction. Within the timber construction sector Rothoblaas is well known for the innovations it regularly brings to the market; with this offer we want to definitively reiterate that direction, being also the company that supplies the best tools so to make building with innovations really possible.”.

“The difference is really remarkable when compared to the offer contained in the previous catalogue”, Dal Ri intervenes. “Most of the novelties follow the trend of the markets worldwide, that we monitor closely. We are up for a progressive expansion of the dimensional possibilities of timber constructions, which are finally starting to stand out to be chose for all types of buildings, even the large-scale ones. Consequently, the range of tools for lifting and transporting elements has been considerably developed with new specific solutions.”

“As an example, the renewed WASP transport anchor is stronger than ever: tested, certified and complete with all technical information. The range of GIRAFFE assembly shafts has also increased: now it includes many new sizes and the new long version is interesting to assist the increasingly taller and more complex timber buildings (thanks to the CLT diffusion). The range of protective tarpaulins for construction sites has also been refreshed: Rothoblaas can now provide flexible and modular solutions, meeting the needs of larger and intricate timber construction sites. Last but not least, we have included a range of new assembly templates specific to our most used fasteners, i.e. templates for the precise 45° installation of our screws, templates for assembling and fixing the legendary ALU brackets and many others. We strongly encourage to adapt the “necessary minimum” to work at maximum efficiency”, concludes Dal Ri.
