Vistry Partnership to increase production at Bardon timber frame facility

Following Vistry Group’s acquisition of Countryside Partnership it has been confirmed that the landmark manufacturing facility in Bardon will be retained by the group and will see significant investment and commitment made to running the facility efficiently and at capacity.

Their hope is to be using the Bardon facility to service internal delivery but with the addition to work alongside SME’s production companies who work with housing associations on delivery of their own programmes.

As part of this commitment and developing the facility, upgrades and re-configurations of the existing line will take place to enable Vistry Group to have one design across its three MMC manufacturing facilities.

Chartered Surveyors, Walker Singleton, have been appointed to market and sell the components that are surplus to requirement. Stephen Jones, Director in the Machinery & Business Assets Department stated “Significant interest was forthcoming in our initial marketing. Although we are no longer offering the line in its entirety, now four component elements, we envisage further strong interest, with the industry having the knowledge that these items are in as new condition, with them having had very little throughput. The line has been designed to produce an advanced closed panel product supporting the move to Modern Methods of Construction.”
