As demand for Actis Hybrid insulation products grow, so does its team, with two new appointments set to increase the company’s sales and specification capacity.
Connor Monk, who has worked in the insulation sector for the past three years, is the new specification manager for the South West, South Wales and West Midlands and will be offering technical expertise alongside his counterparts Amaret Chahal in the East Midlands, North Wales, the North and Scotland and Jason Docherty in the South East.
He is passionate about explaining the detail of how Actis products work to ensure customers get the best possible performance from the materials he helps them choose. “I will be raising awareness of how reflective multifoil insulation can help to address the performance gap we are still seeing when it comes to construction. I will work alongside architects, building control officers, energy assessors and house builders to offer U-value calculations, condensation risk analyses and specification support for their projects,” he said. “I’m looking forward to developing new relationships and to making a positive contribution to the construction industry.”
Connor adds that he specifically wanted to work for Actis as many of the people he met in the course of his previous roles praised their products and the company as an employer. “When an employer has a positive reputation and the same message is communicated by a variety of different people, this gave me the confidence that both the role and the company were an ideal fit. I walked into the perfect storm at the right time, looking at the right role in the right industry for the right company.”
Actis’ second new recruit, Joe Glaze, has taken on the role of area sales manager for South Central and will be working alongside seasoned specification manager Jason Docherty.
Joe has a strong background in sales, but this is his first foray into the construction industry. Customer relationships are at the core of Joe’s approach and he is enjoying getting his teeth into providing support and training for merchant sales teams and helping them identify opportunities for Actis products. “My goal is for Actis Hybris to replace PIR as the go to insulation in the UK,” he said.
