The Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), comprising Chandlers, Parkers, Fairalls and Stamco Timber, announces a new managing director of its timber division. Trevor Mudd, who has a long history in the timber industry, has been promoted to the helm of Stamco Timber.
Mudd joined Chandlers Building Supplies ten years ago following the sale of his timber business and has led the timber division (Stamco Timber) with a wealth of wisdom and experience since Chandlers’ integration into IBMG and now becomes managing director of Stamco.
As part of the largest building and roofing merchants in the South East, Stamco Timber has been a great success story. Founded in 1957 in Hastings as a family-owned, independent supplier of timber mouldings, it now supplies a range of machined PAR, moulded sections and timber board products to timber and builders merchants, construction companies. The business operates from a 5.5-acre distribution centre and timber mill, in St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex
