Sterling OSB on the menu at new Isle of Wight restaurant and bar

Stranded board, SterlingOSB, has played a starring role in a substantial renovation project in the Isle of Wight.

A former bank in the coastal town of Ventnor has undergone a complete transformation to create ‘Stripped’ a restaurant and bar.

“We wanted to work the original wood into the design of the bar but a lot of it was damaged,” explained Klaus Kuhnke from Stripped. “We decided that we would have to rebuild the bar from scratch in the most economically viable way.”

Taking advice from the builders at South Wight Construction, Kuhnke agreed that SterlingOSB was the best material to use to create a modern, edgy look which has added to the beach-side vibe of the restaurant.
