HUBTEX is expanding its range of electric multidirectional sideloaders with two new 5-tonne models designed for demanding timber applications: the MSL 50 and the MAXX 50. Both trucks are tailored to the needs of timber merchants, sawmills and prefabricated house builders that handle long, heavy and sometimes damp loads – and are looking to reduce emissions without sacrificing performance.
With the new MSL 50, the HUBTEX product line gains a robust outdoor specialist. The electric multidirectional sideloader, with a load capacity of 5 tonnes, is equipped with a specially developed SL cab (sideloader cab) and optimised for longer transport distances in the yard. The ergonomic seating position in the direction of travel reduces strain on the driver, ensuring maximum comfort – particularly over longer distances. Thanks to the low-set front window, the route remains in view at all times, while the generous side window provides an optimal view of the load being transported. The MSL 50 is particularly suitable for operations with extensive outdoor storage, such as timber merchants or sawmills.
MAXX 50: 5-tonne model for demanding mixed indoor–outdoor use
HUBTEX has also expanded its portfolio with the addition of the powerful MAXX 50. Like all models in the MAXX series, it is designed for combined indoor and outdoor use, making it ideal for working in narrow warehouse aisles as well as for loading and unloading lorries in the yard.
“The MAXX 50 is ideally suited to the needs of wood processing companies and timber merchants,” explains Hans-Joachim Finger, General Manager of HUBTEX. “It offers increased residual load capacity, which is particularly essential for transporting heavy or damp timber.”
The MAXX 50 features an ergonomic cab, a lift mast precisely matched to the load capacity, and the optionally available 360° HX steering. With a ground clearance of 190 mm and a load arm height of 535 mm, it offers the optimum trade-off between maximum utilisation of storage space and high flexibility outdoors. Powerful 5 kW electric motors ensure strong performance – even on inclines.
Order picking solutions for the wood industry
In addition to the new sideloaders, HUBTEX offers tailor-made order picking solutions for the wood industry. The KP series includes multidirectional sideloaders which transform into order picking vehicles with a detachable platform. The MK series is ideal for transporting doors and frames, while the EZK platform with two-mast or scissor lift enables high handling performance and dual-sided rack operation. All models can be equipped with VacumaX vacuum suction technology to move panels and other sensitive materials safely while minimising damage.
With these solutions, HUBTEX aims to support timber companies in making their material handling more efficient, safer and increasingly sustainable – from the outdoor yard through to narrow-aisle racking in the warehouse.
