This newsletter will be the final Timber Update in the TTF format, with our new brand – Timber Development UK – being rolled out from tomorrow!TDUK) was formed from the merger of the Timber Trade Federation (TTF) and Timber Research and Development Association (TRADA). After a lengthy process, we are hugely excited to officially begin our journey as a new, integrated timber supply chain. The new organisation will bring about some changes, particularly on the digital side. We will have a shiny new logo as well as a new set of brand guidelines for members. We will also have a brand new website which we want to become a source of knowledge and truth for every member of the timber supply chain. The new website will combine the best elements of the Timber Trade Federation and TRADA, including their combined libraries of Wood Information Sheets, market data, guidance, case studies and publications. We will be providing new login details for members in the coming weeks as well as tutorials on how to use the new website. In the meantime, the TRADA and TTF websites are going to remain live till 31 October 2022, and your login details will continue to work. Keep an eye out for the Welcome Pack being received by your business this week, and your digital Welcome Pack next week. In the meantime, we would really like to see you all at the Wood Awards exhibit with Material Matters Fair at London Design Festival (22-25 September). This is a free to attend exhibition. Members of our staff will be there, so please do come in and say hi and see some of the incredible timber projects shortlisted in 2022. These are just some of the exciting developments heading your way in the next few months. Do keep an eye on your inboxes and our social media for more updates! Have a great week all.
